Robert J. Redder passed away at his home in Loveland, CO on August 9, 2022.  He was 92 years old.  Bob was born in Vega, TX in 1930 where he lived on the family farm.  After graduation from high school at Price College in Amarillo, TX, he began working for a cattle ranch owned by the family of his life-long high school friend, Pat McDowell near Dumas, TX.  Horses and ranching were his passion until he met his wife to be, Joan Mathews.  They were married in 1956 and then moved to Denver, Colorado in 1962 where his new passion in life became the mountains where he loved to fish, hunt and camp with his wife, family and friends.  Bob retired from Caterpillar, Inc. in Denver as a traffic coordinator in the shipping department in 1993 after 30 years of employment.  Bob and Joan moved to Loveland, CO in 1996 to be close to their daughter and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Anton and Theresa Redder, his wife Joan Redder and brother John Redder. He is survived by his daughter Debbie (Jerry) Evans, grandchildren Michelle Evans and Justin (Tiffanie) Evans, great-grandchildren Jaiden (Anesia) Perry and Duke Evans and great-great grandchildren ElleRae and Jaxon Perry.  He is also survived by two brothers Frank Redder of Virginia and Donald Redder of Mississippi along with many nieces and nephews.

Everywhere Bob went he would strike up a conversation, make friends and have stories to tell.  He lived a long full life enjoying the Colorado mountains, taking care of his dogs, cheering on the Broncos and spending time with his family.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Services will be at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home on August 22, 2022 at 11:00.  A reception will follow.  In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to Animal Friends Alliance - www.savinganimalstoday.org/donate
