Robert Lawley Sr, 81, of Longmont passed away in his sleep on 8/30/2023.
Robert was born on 3/2/1942 to Edna and Russel Lawley in Erie, CO. Robert graduated from Erie High School in 1960. Robert became a butcher and owned and ran Rocky Mountain Meat Company, in Longmont, CO with his brother-in-law Gary Stratton. Robert later became a truck driver. Robert and Sondra Lawley were married on September 13th, 1963. They had 5 sons Robert Jr, Jon, Clinton, Branden, and Lance. When Robert retired, he spent as much time with Sondra and his children and grandchildren as he could, enjoying many camping trips, hunting and fishing and just being in the mountains, that he loved.
Russel Lawley, Edna Gustafson, Sweede Gustafson (Stepfather), and Lance preceded Robert in death.
He is survived by his wife Sondra, Son Robert and Wife Jill, Grandson Josh, Wife Melissa, Great Grandson Braydon, Grandson Dustin, Granddaughter Megan, Husband Antonio Rios, Great Grandsons Dominic and Julian. Son Jon. Son Clint, Wife Renee, Daughter Jaclyn Copley, Husband Aaron Copley, Great Granddaughters Lyndzee, Ilyzabeth, Aaliyah, and Great Grandson Jaysyn, Son Lawerence, Grandson Travis, Grandson Branden, wife Joylynn, Grandson Colton, Grandson Wesley, Wife Katelyn, Grandson Austin, Wife Kara. Daughter-in-law Heidi, Granddaughter Haaley, Husband Austin Fisher, Grandson Andrew. Sister Sharon Stratton, Husband Gary Stratton and family, Sister Patty Canon, Husband Chuck Canon and family.
