February 14, 1943 - October 01, 2021

Robert Reed Reichert, 78, of Loveland CO went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Oct 1, 2021.

Bob was born February 14, 1943, to George and Mary Elizabeth Reichert in Denver, CO. He was the youngest of 5 children.

In 1966, Bob married Janet Degenhart, and they had three children, Sherye, Robbie, and Tanya. In 1979 he married Peggy McCreery and they had two children, Mark and Nicole.

Bob loved and cherished his wife Peggy with all of his heart and soul to the very end of his life.  His family, and extended family meant everything to him. He had a profound love for the Lord and was always taking part in different activities in the church, with his favorite being involvement with AWANAS. His kids and his grandkids were his world.  He was their biggest supporter and biggest fan and loved to take them hunting, fishing, and watch them in their barrel racing, horse showing, playing sports or dance recitals.  Wherever they were, he was there cheering them on.  His grandchildren were the absolute joy of his life and he was so incredibly proud of each and every one of them. Bob was very active in Colorado Youth Outdoors and Outdoor Buddies, where he loved helping people get to hunt and learn about the outdoors when they otherwise may have had no opportunity to do so. He was a kind and generous friend and would give you the shirt off of his back if he thought you needed it, always there to help others in any way he could, no matter if he knew them or not.

Bob was an entrepreneur and was always self-employed. The family had many successful businesses including Yellow Barrel Disposal, Action Rubbish, Western Feed, Thompson Valley Wildlife Park, Noah’s Ark Petting Zoo and Pony Rides, among others. Bob was always doing something and had his hands into a million different things. He loved to be out of doors, loved children, animals and always enjoyed planting and caring for his flowers.

Bob is survived by his wife Peggy (McCreery), daughter Sherye Reichert-Przybyla (Jourdan, Tiffany, Bryce and Brynlee), son Robbie Reichert (Robbie, Arielle, Natasha, Jerrod, Aaliyah), daughter Tanya Olsen and husband Bradley (Kazley and Aixlyn), son Mark Reichert and wife Erin (Claire and Thomas) and daughter Nicole Hicks and boyfriend Lance Creach (Ashtyn, Bre and Braden), Seven great-grandchildren, Sister Lois Brough (Richard), and sister-in-law Audrey Reichert. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary, his first wife Janet, sister JoAnn Chenevert, brother George Reichert and brother Warren Reichert.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Foundations Church in Loveland.  Cremation has been completed.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Outdoor Buddies program.  Please make checks payable to Outdoor Buddies, ℅ 4069 Moorings Drive, Loveland, CO  80537.
