Robert Wayne Rouse, 74, of Broomfield, CO died July 29 peacefully at home. Wayne was born and raised in Owensboro, KY and was the youngest of three sons of William T. and A. Colleen (Wilson) Rouse.
He attended the of University of Kentucky earning a BS in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation, Wayne served in the US Army during the Viet Nam era. His tour of duty was in Germany. During his career he worked as a mechanical engineer for Coors in Golden CO and Campbells Soup in Camden NJ retiring to Broomfield CO in 2016.
He is preceded in death by his parents A. Colleen (Wilson) and William T. Rouse and a brother Jerry D. (Bettye). Surviving are his spouse Deborah, stepdaughter Amy M. O’Rourke (Brad), step grandchildren Erin, Brigid (Jon Tallent), Patrick, Thomas, and Lexie. Brother Carroll Rouse, nephews Rick (Barb), Steve, Sean (Allison), sister in law Bettye and niece Jennifer Rouse Kloete (Rick).
Wayne was a kind and loving husband, stepfather, Grampa, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
Private service. Interment Ft. Logan National Cemetery Denver, CO on September 24th at 11:30 a.m.
