OCTOBER 29, 1946 – JULY 7, 2021
Robert “Bob” Wilbur Herd, 74, of Windsor, Colorado went to be with the Lord on July 7, 2021. Bob was born in Sandusky, Ohio to Wilbur and Doris Herd.
Bob was loved by many. He was social and loved living at Good Samaritan where he enjoyed visiting with friends, working jigsaw puzzles and playing cards. He especially enjoyed his pinochle group. He was devoted to his faith and loved gospel music. He sang in the choir and enjoyed singing solos. Bob was an avid reader of many subjects – fiction, non-fictional and biblical. Bob spent nine years serving his country in the U.S. Navy. He served off the shore of Da Nang, Vietnam as an electronic technician working on communication towers. Unfortunately, as a result, the effects of Agent Orange took Bob’s life after a 20-year battle.
