October 22, 1951 - August 31, 2022
Rocky Lee Rogers, age 70, of Loveland, Colorado, passed peacefully on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. Rocky was born to Clifford Rogers and Donna Anderson and had three siblings.
Rocky was a native of Loveland, graduating from Loveland High School in 1970. He was drafted by the Army in 1970 and served two years, one in Washington and one in Berlin, Germany. Rocky worked at Loveland Laundry during his high school years and then at Gurwell Construction and Loveland Industries before finding his home at Skyline Electric, where he worked for 32 years.
Rocky married in 1974 and had one daughter; he married again in 1980 to Jeanele Morgan, and they had four daughters. Rocky was a man of integrity in all areas of his life. His faith and love in the LORD Jesus was evident in his daily life, sharing and witnessing to all who would listen, even to those who listened reluctantly.
He treasured his family and taught all his daughters to love the Lord, be independent, and help others. He often told others he had all daughters so he could pick his sons, and so he did. Rocky valued his longtime friendships and the newest ones too. Throughout Rocky’s life, he had many hobbies like hunting with his buddies, shooting at the range, leatherwork, archery, racing, fishing, and camping. In Rocky’s later years, spending time with his family was what he loved most.
Rocky is preceded in death by his father, Clifford Rogers, brother, Kerry Rogers, and son-in-law, Joshua Arvidson. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeanele Rogers, his daughters, Misty (Ben) Green, Naomi Arvidson, Michelle (Sean) Goldsberry, Rebecca (Merytt) Holsclaw, and Jacqueline (John) Duran, seven, soon-to-be-eight, grandchildren, sisters, Kathy (Guy) Kamerzell, Mindy Banowetz, and many nieces and nephews.
