Rodney Edward Renzelman was born December 28, 1946, in Wray, Colorado. Rod passed away January 28, 2023, at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colorado after suffering a massive stroke.
Rod drove semi-truck most of his adult life but worked may other professions. Rod was a marine, EMT, plumber, apartment manager, ditch digger, mail courier and somewhere in there he even became an ordained minister.
Rod had a great love for his family and friends. He loved telling stories and jokes, riding his Harleys, playing chess and of course his beer.
Rod is survived by his siblings, Terry and wife Leigh Renzelman of Lake Havasu, AZ, Debbie Pickett of Okarche, OK, Jimmy and wife Joy of Guymon, OK, Wendy Douglas of Amarillo, TX, Stacy and husband Jeffery Telck of Amherst, CO. Sons Jeff and Roger, daughter Melody and husband Jared DeWitt of Prairie View, KS. Grandchildren Heather, Faith, and Dylan. Great Grandchildren Aj, Layla, and Nayeli, numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Visitation/Viewing will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Schmidt-Jones Funeral Home in Wray, Colorado.
Funeral Services will be held at the Schmidt-Jones Funeral Home in Wray, Colorado on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Lisa Nordan officiating.
Interment was held in the Grandview Cemetery in Wray, Colorado. Memorials may be made to the Rodney Renzelman Memorial Fund.
Funeral services are being handled by Schmidt-Jones Funeral Home in Wray.
