SEPTEMBER 30, 1943 – OCTOBER 26, 2020
Ronald Craig Osborn, 77, of Loveland, Colorado passed away on October 26, 2020 at Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, CO surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Englewood, New Jersey on September 30, 1943, a son of the late Leroy Osborn and Ruth (Lovgren) Osborn.
Ron was a hardworking man and excelled in anything and everyone he worked for. While living in Estes Park, Colorado for 18 years, he was a member of the Lions Club, The Horseshow and Rodeo Committee and helped with the Boy Scouts. Ron adored his children: he was so proud of Tammy when she was Rooftop Rodeo Queen 1984 and 1985 and he was so proud of Chuck when he joined the USCG and spent 20 years serving our country. He also loved to hike and made it to the top of Longs Peak with his son Chuck. He loved his Golden Retrievers and always had to have one by his side. He owned and operated Fort Namaqua Liquor in Loveland for many years and then sold it to his son Chuck. He began working for Loveland Auto Auction and looked forward to going to work and being with the “GUYS”!!!
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Nancy Lust Osborn of Loveland, CO; two children, daughter and son-in-law Tammy and Adam Muirhead of Fort Collins, CO, and son Charles Leroy Osborn of Loveland, CO.; one sister, Barbara Osborn Harklow of Loveland, CO; one brother-in-law, Robert Charles Lust and Dawn Lust in Holiday, FL; and 3 grandchildren who loved their grandpa so much and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 on November 4, 2020 at Resthaven Funeral Home, Fort Collins, CO. with Pastor Terry Skov officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Golden Retriever Freedom Rescue, Inc.
