December 15, 1931 - December 10, 2020

Rudy Krizman, 88 passed away on December 10, 2020 at McKee Medical Center.

He was born in Leadville, Colorado on December 15th, 1931 to Rudolph J. and Rose Mary Krizman,

as the older of two boys.

He married the love of his life Darlene V. Krizman in Grand Junction, Colorado, in 1952.  The couple had seven children born in Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, and Nebraska, arriving in Loveland, Colorado in 1990, where he has resided since.

He enjoyed golfing, dancing, racing go-carts, spending time with friends,

and most importantly his 7 children, their spouse’s, 31 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.

Some of the professions Rudy was most proud of included working for The Singer Sewing Machine Company in the 1960's, heavy equipment sales, uranium exploration and mining.

Later in life, he enjoyed working at Davidson Chevrolet Loveland, along with Auto Source of Windsor.

He also cherished his time as a play manager at Mariana Butte golf course, up until his 88thbirthday.

It brought Rudy so much joy to be able to vacation to Twin Lakes/Leadville and reminisce with his extended family.

One of Rudy’s most memorable moments, which he often talked about, was when he went skydiving with his family on his 85thbirthday. Rudy touched the hearts of all those he came in contact with, leaving a lasting legacy.

Rudy is survived by his daughters, Debra (Randy) Miller, Lori (Tony) Davis, Trudy (Kenny) Franklin, Bonnie Bangert, Tracie Fiegel; sons, Jon (Lisa) Krizman, & Jeff Krizman.

He was preceded in death by wife Darlene V. Krizman (Duffy), brother Robert Krizman,

granddaughters, Campbell Bangert and Sierra Krizman.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time when we can honor Rudy in a way that he deserves.
