Salvador González Moncada of Berthoud, Colorado died suddenly Saturday, April 10, 2021, as a result of an auto accident. He was 68. He was born April 27, 1952 in Guanajuato, Mexico to Cipriano Gonzalez and María Moncada. Salvador married María García on May 10, 1986. They moved to Berthoud in August of 2008. Salvador loved gardening but his passion was his flower garden. He had the most beautiful yard that was the envy to many. Once, his niece was getting off the bus at their home and the bus driver told her, "Your Aunt has the most beautiful flowers and garden!" She quickly corrected them and said, "Oh no, that is not my Aunt who does that! That is my Uncle!" Salvador also loved his Colorado Rockies! He made sure that his children and grandchildren, all had Colorado Rockies shirts! Salvador loved his wife, children, grandchildren and family so much, and they him, and he will be sorely missed. Salvador was a very loving and giving man, who always did what it took to a take care of his family and friends.
Salvador was preceded in death by his Mother Maria Moncada and his Brother in laws Juan Lorenzo and Rogelio Garcia. Salvador is survived by his father, Cipriano González; his wife María García González; his father in law Ricardo García; his children Fatima González; Marisol & Gonsalo Soto; Sandra & José Villalobos, Salvador & Diana González; his grandchildren Sungmo; José Luis; Chavita; Camila; Javier; Sebastián; and one on the way; his siblings; Mercedes & Jaime Trejo; Gloria & Francisco Hernández; Concha González; Fabián & Virginia González; María de Jesús González; Everardo & María González; Ricardo & Graciela González; Silverio González; José González; Isabel González; Fernando González; Arturo & Guadalupe González; Carlos & Marina González; his sister & brother in laws; Arcelia y Rodomiro Franco; Martin y Maricela García; Juana y Ezequiel Gómez; Ricardo y Silvia García; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, friends and loved ones.

Spanish Catholic Mass will be on Monday, April 19th at 10:00am. at St. John's the Evangelist Catholic Parish 1730 W. 12th St. Loveland, CO 80537
Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery on Highway 56 & Weld County Road 1, Berthoud, CO 80513 immediately following Mass.

Salvador amaba la jardinería pero su pasión era su jardín de flores. Tenía el jardín más hermoso que era la envidia de muchos. Una vez, su sobrina se estaba bajando del autobús en su casa y el conductor del autobús le dijo: "¡Tu tía tiene las flores y el jardín más hermosos!" Ella rápidamente los corrigió y dijo: "¡Oh, no, esa no es mi tía la que hace eso! ¡Es mi tío!" ¡Salvador también amaba a sus Colorado Rockies! ¡Se aseguró de que sus hijos y nietos tuvieran camisetas de los Colorado Rockies! Salvador amaba tanto a su esposa, hijos, nietos y familia, y ellos a él, y lo extrañaremos profundamente. Salvador era un hombre muy cariñoso y generoso, que siempre hacía lo necesario para cuidar a su familia y amigos.
