Samuel C Luna (66) passed away April 10, 2022 at Longmont United Hospital. Sam was born in Olton, TX on March 6, 1956 to Juan and Simona (Liquez) Luna. Sam resided in Longmont with his life partner of 25 years, Pat Juarez. Sam had six children: Samuel Jr, Peter, Leslie (Omar), Steven (Chelsea), Daniel, Jessica (Aaron) and numerous grandchildren.
Sam grew up in Texas and was a semi-truck driver for many years. For the past 13 years, Sam enjoyed driving a bus for First Transit. Sam loved to dance, sing Karaoke and play the accordion. He will be remembered for his laugh and smile, which would light up any room. Sam was a kind man and will be so greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life lunch reception will be held at the American Legion, 315 S. Bowen St., Longmont, CO 80501 on April 14 from 12:00PM-3:00PM. Please join us and share your stories and memories of our beloved Sam.
