FEBRUARY 18, 1942 – AUGUST 9, 2022
Sharon Marie Haugen went to be with the Lord on August 9, 2022. She was born on February 18, 1942 in Minot, North Dakota to Clarence Norgard and Nora (Johnson). She grew up in Hartland and graduated as Valedictorian from Carpio High School in North Dakota. Sharon attended Minot State Teachers College. She met the love of her life, Jerry Haugen in Minot, North Dakota and they were married on June 24, 1962. They welcomed three beautiful children, Mike, Tracy and Jodi. In 1971, the family moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa and eventually settled in Loveland, Colorado where they were long-time residents for 44 years.
Sharon enjoyed bowling, camping, playing cards and the piano, ATV riding and winters in Arizona with family and friends. She was a long time member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Sharon is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Haugen; her son, Michael and his wife, Julie (Kitzrow); parents, Clarence and Nora Norgard; five brothers, Gerald, Dale, Dennis, Richard, and Walt Norgard; and her sister, Shirley Beebe.
Sharon is survived by her loving daughters Tracy (Paul) Shipman of Erie, Colorado and Jodi (Steve) Pelster of Thornton, Colorado. Grandchildren Andie Haugen, Alex Haugen, Casey (Gabe) Gunnick, Bryce Shipman and Zac Pelster.
Sharon will be greatly missed but her warmth, kindness, love and gentle spirit will be remembered forever.
