Teresa Jean Fitzpatrick has gone home to heaven. She passed away unexpectedly on November 16, 2023. She will be missed by her family and friends.
Teresa was born on January 4, 1958 to Donald LeRoy and Hattie Elizabeth (Wilson) Fitzpatrick in Decatur, Illinois. They moved to Boulder, Colorado in September of 1958, when Teresa was just 8 months old. She graduated from Boulder High School.
Teresa worked for K-Mart in Boulder for 20 years and then at Sam's Club in Fort Collins, Colorado for another 20 years. She then stayed home to care for her mother, Hattie, until the time of her passing in 2020. After that, she went back to work part-time at the Dollar Tree on Harmony Road in Fort Collins, where she continued to work up until the time of her death.
Teresa loved kids, old movies, old TV shows and Hallmark movies. She loved spending time with her nephews, Jason and Darren, her great-niece, Lindsay, and her sister, Vickie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and grandparents, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Treasured memories of Teresa and words of condolence for her family are welcome at www.resthavencolorado.com.
