Tom Padilla (89), of Fort Lupton, Colorado passed away peacefully, on December 27th, 2022 in Greeley, Colorado.
Dad, fondly known as Tom, was born in San Antonio, Texas to Louisa (Rivas) Padilla and Guadalupe Padilla. He grew up in Boerne, Texas
Dad married the love of his life Rosario Torres. Together they had six children, four daughters and two sons. He raised his family in Colorado.
As his family grew, he was proud to be able to spend quality time with his children and grandchildren. Dad enjoyed fishing the Colorado & Oklahoma lakes, gardening, working on cars, the outdoors and traveling. He was also a talented musician who loved playing his guitar and singing with friends and family.
He will be remembered for his smile, his great sense of humor, his kindness and gentleness, and his unwavering love for the Lord.
Tom is survived by sisters Ramona Furlo and Alice Padilla, and his brother Joseph (Noemi) Padilla; his children Lorraine (Michael) Tiger, Mona Kirkpatrick, Yvette DeLeo, and Yvonne (Robert) Glasgow, and son Thomas Jesse Padilla Jr. Tom is survived by 7 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Rosario (Rose) and infant son, Dale.
A service to celebrate Tom's life will be held at a later date.
