Timothy Earl Shelton passed away at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins Colorado on June 26, 2021.
Tim, the son of Mabel and Grady Shelton, was born November 1, 1952 in Odessa Texas.
Tim worked as a LaPlata county sheriff’s deputy, Durango police officer and held numerous security positions.
His hobbies included fishing, hunting, welding, storytelling and making people laugh.
Timothy was preceded in death by his mother Mabel Shelton, father Grady Shelton and sister Fayrene Shelton.
He is survived by his wife Louella Shelton of Fort Collins Co, Chad and Laura Shelton of Bayfield, Cody Shelton and Annette Smith of Loveland, Andrew and Brandy Bicknell of Loveland, his brother Don Shelton of Midland TX, and his sister Laveta Shelton of Odessa TX. Tim’s 10 grandchildren include Alyssa Shelton, Tiara Shelton, Chase Shelton, Alasia Shelton, Celyn Shelton, Katelynn Vaughn, Elise Bicknell, Ian Bicknell, Lillian Bicknell and Lindsey Bicknell as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation has been completed. No services are scheduled at this time.
