   Mr. Timothy Stephen Velasquez, 75, joined our heavenly Father on March 1, 2022.  He was born on July 31, 1946 in Loveland, Colorado, where he remained a lifelong resident.

   Tim was a proud Army Veteran who served with the 101st Airborne.  He was a virtuous man who always put the cares of others before himself.  His warm smile, genuine heart and kindness attracted many people, as evident by his countless bonds of friendship and impact on the local community.  He had a passion for traveling, cooking and hosting events.  As a world traveler, he visited dozens of countries spanning five continents.  Tim was never shy about showcasing his cooking prowess.  He could always be counted on to provide a delicious meal as he regularly hosted Saturday morning breakfast.  He was always the life of the party with his engaging personality, quick wit and incomparable concern for the welfare of others.  He always brought laughter to any situation 

   At the center of Tim’s existence was his family.  He was a devoted family man, father and grandfather who was the pillar of strength, courage and wisdom for his family.  He raised six children with Shirley Velasquez. He is survived by his children, Tracy Leone (Jack), Tiffanie Peterson, Eva Timitha Reign (Andre), Trevor Velasquez, Tyler Velasquez (Diane); 15 grandchildren (Giovanna, Gianni, Gia, Jazi, Jewell, Gabrielle, Ryan, Alex, Jaxon, Alana, Kyle, Dakota, Caleb, Taylor, Tia); one brother, Johnnie Velasquez (Mary), and three sisters, Mary Lou Adame (Jr), Nadine Velasquez (Steve) and Judy Buxmann (Rory).  Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Phyllis Velasquez; three brothers, Pete (Tony) Velasquez, Joe Ben Velasquez and Jeffrey Velasquez; two sisters, Ruth Lara and Betty Vasquez.      

   A viewing will take place on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home, Loveland Colorado, from 3:00 - 5:00 pm with a Rosary at 5:00 pm.   A Catholic Mass is scheduled for Monday, March 7, 2022, at St John’s Catholic Church, Loveland, Colorado, at 11:00 a.m.   Burial Service will take place on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colorado at 11:30 a.m.
