Cindy Walding, 70, of Loveland CO. passed away peacefully after an extremely short illness on September 4, 2023 with family and a close friend present at McKee Hospital in Loveland, CO. Celebrations of her life will be held at future dates in Loveland, CO; and Sioux City, IA.
Cindy was born August 2, 1953 in Colorado Spring, CO to Roy and Bertha Nance. She attended Palmer High School in Colorado Springs. Cindy graduated in 2000 from Ames Community College, Greeley, CO, with an Associates of Applied Science degree in Computer Information Systems.
Carl Walding and Cindy met while working together at the same company in Colorado Springs. On September 3, 1994 they were married at their property on Storm Mountain. They lived in Loveland during their marriage.
Cindy retired from MaiCon of Longmont, CO in 2015. She was the office administrator from 2000 until her retirement.
Cindy volunteered with the Loveland Veterans Club for their November 11th bell ringing. She was an avid bowler and loved to bowl with her husband Carl; loved shooting pool with Carl and friends; camping with friends and family; and visiting her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her dear husband Carl Walding; two sisters, Vicky (Kenny) Hill, Florissant, CO, Renee Storm, Ordway, CO; two daughters, Dani (Floyd), Coverdill, CO, Veronica Scott, Loveland, CO; five grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandson Nicholas Hanna; and two sisters, Lisa Wilson, and Patsy Lindt.
