Rev. Wilbur D. Lindstrom, 93 of Loveland, Colorado passed away on January 27, 2022. A funeral service will be held at Resthaven Memory Gardens on February 7, 2022 at 10:00A.M. in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Wilbur Lindstrom was born on August 6, 1928 in Sterling Colorado. He was the firstborn of Leo and Enid Lindstrom. He was a graduate of Sterling High School in 1948 and attended L. I.F.E. Bible College in Los Angeles, CA and graduated in February 1952 with a degree in Biblical Studies. While there, he met the love of his life, Melva Reikofski. They married on Feb 10, 1952 and together had 57 wonderful years of marriage until her passing in 2008. They were parents to one daughter, Melody.

Together, they served in several pastorates in the Midwest including Ouray and Eaton, CO; Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska; Overland and Raytown, Missouri; and finished his career serving as the Victory Class Bible teacher and building manager at Foursquare International in Los Angeles. During that time, he was appointed as Elder of Angelus Temple. He retired in December 1991 but continued to serve from 1996-2001 with Loveland, CO volunteer police chaplains. He also taught many bible studies in his home and in local churches. His love for the church and its members was undeniable.

He also enjoyed camping with family and friends, fishing and traveling. Wilbur looked forward to helping out on Lindstrom Farms with harvest and fencing with his brothers. Family time was always valued.

He is survived by his daughter, Melody (Bob) Thomas; granddaughter, Jennifer (Trint) Thomas; great grandchildren, Colton, Brendy, and Cooper; brothers, Wendel, Alan, Charles (Nancy); sister, Roberta Schneidau; and special friend and caregiver, Sonia Faber.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Enid; brother, Neil Lindstrom; sister, Leta Andrews; brother-in-law, Herb Schneidau; sister-in laws, Betty Lindstrom and Judy Lindstrom; nephew, Jeff Lindstrom; and niece Rene Peterson.
