Ballots to appear in mailboxes this week

The mid-term election in Nov. 8. This week voters should begin seeing their ballots appear in their mailboxes.

According to a news release from Secretary of State Jena Griswold, county clerks must have all the mail ballots sent out by Oct. 21. Registered voters who do not receive a ballot should contact their county clerk. 

There is still time to register and receive a ballot by mail. Registration must be completed by Oct. 31 in order to receive a mailed ballot. Colorado allows voters to register until 7 p.m. on Nov. 8. Those who register to vote after Oct. 31 can still vote in person at a voting center on Election Day. For more information on how to register to vote, click here.

Those wishing to mail their ballot should do so by Oct. 31 otherwise voters should drop their ballots at voting centers or area drop boxes.
