The Sunshine Club would like to raise $5,000 to share between its two funds for emergency dental care. $2,500 would be allocated to Sunshine Senior Smiles which in cooperation with The Longmont Senior Center identifies and provides emergency dental care to local seniors. $2,500 would be allocated to provide dental care to St. Vrain Valley School District children who have been pre-screened through the club's on site school dental clinics. The Sunshine Club was founded in 1902 by five Central School girls for the purpose of helping those in need in their community. It has continued ever since raising funds for local charitable projects primarily through its annual Sunshine Tea, the Sunshine Memorial Fund and financial gifts from members and the community.

About the Live & Give Program:

Help shape Longmont’s future in a single day.

On September 26th, Live & Give Longmont brings our community together for 24 hours of generosity. With everyone in the community giving whatever they can, we hope to raise start up funds for a few projects in our community. It’s about working together to accentuate the place we love—so it will continue to thrive today and for generations to come.
