Since 1989, the Hispanic Education Foundation has awarded scholarships to graduating seniors from the St. Vrain Valley School District to attend 2-year, 4-year, or technical training. HEF scholars have the opportunity to reapply for a scholarship for an additional three years. Many students earn a significant amount of scholarship money for their first year of school, but struggle to find ways to pay for the rest of their time at college. The HEF returning scholarship program allows for students to continue on in their education, and we feel it is an investment not only in their future, but in our community's as well. Many of our students return to the Longmont area and start families of their own.

About the Live & Give Program:

Help shape Longmont’s future in a single day.

On September 26th, Live & Give Longmont brings our community together for 24 hours of generosity. With everyone in the community giving whatever they can, we hope to raise start up funds for a few projects in our community. It’s about working together to accentuate the place we love—so it will continue to thrive today and for generations to come.
