To the editor of Longmont Observer,
I am writing in support of and to recommend residents vote for Regan Sample for City Council for Ward 3.
I have known Regan for many years and have known him to always be focused on helping others. While the two of us ran our school’s PTO for three years, he volunteered continually in the classrooms giving individual attention to the kids that may need it most. During our time running our schools’ PTO and his continued time at the school Regan has helped to organize, run, or volunteer at all of the school events. Regan was also crucial in the planning and executing of many of the large fundraisers. Using his financial background he was then responsible for the dispersing of the raised funds back into the school to ensure that students and teachers have what they need in order to be successful both inside and outside of the classroom. He has also worked on our school’s finance committee and was a vital part in writing the bond issue for the athletic fields.
Beyond his passion to give back to our community through our schools he has the business and economic experience needed to do the work of our city council for the benefit of our residents. He has an education in finance and practical experience in bringing people together, running a small business, and getting things done. Regan connects people in the community and helps make sure that people around him are doing better because of his efforts. It is truly rare to see someone with such a drive to go out into our community to help others succeed selflessly. While running his business, his clients never question his loyalty, integrity, and they know they can trust him with their best interests at heart.
Regan has proven time and time again to be someone that looks to understand multiple points of view on issues, asks questions to uncover deeper issues and considers the unintended effects.
I cannot express enough that, Regan Sample is the best choice for Longmont City Council Ward 3, due to his passion for our community, his education, work experience, his integrity and his honesty. Regan is reliable and a solid choice. He has a sense of humor that makes difficult tasks fun, brings people together and is the person to get the job done.I strongly recommend residents of Ward 3 vote for Regan Sample to be their next city council member.
