I am writing in support of my neighbor and friend, Jeff Moore, for the City Council At-Large seat. We have known Jeff and his wife, Ingrid, for almost 20 years and Jeff has been president of our HOA for the past 10 years.
During this time with Jeff as president, we have enjoyed a stable, well-run HOA community. Jeff devotes many hours of his time to working on the budget, contracts, residents’ problems, and planning ahead. He has implemented several environmentally responsible practices, including technology for increased water-savings and pollinator-friendly grounds maintenance. We are proud that our association is serving as a model for other HOAs to emulate.
As neighbors, we have enjoyed our social relationships with Jeff and Ingrid. As a person, Jeff is unbiased and doesn’t pre-judge anyone. He is kind and willing to give of his time and resources if someone needs help. He generously allows the entire street to borrow his pickup for whatever needs arise. He personally built and donated a Little Free Library for the community. It is installed right next to a playground where it is used by both children and adults.
During Jeff’s previous term on council for Ward 2, we felt well-represented and knew we could always have his ear when issues arose. He served with integrity and sincere motivation to do the right thing. Jeff has ideas that seek to utilize developing technology for solving some of Longmont’s intractable traffic problems. He knows how to make things happen and we know he will.
In this election, we are not only choosing a candidate for our representation on the City Council. We are also voting for the future of Longmont. Please consider this when casting your ballot and join us in electing Jeff Moore.
