Boulder County Public Health and area chambers and economic development organizations are holding a "cross-industry support session" via Zoom from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday to discuss the county's move to Safer at Home Level Orange: High Risk on the state’s dial dashboard.

Businesses are invited to attend the virtual event to learn more about the change that was announced Wednesday and will result in more stringent COVID-19 restrictions on gatherings and business capacity.

"The purpose of these sessions is to minimize confusion, get questions answered, hear updates on next steps, and discuss best practices ...," according to an event posting on the Boulder Chamber website.

Industries supported on the  call will include: general office, manufacturing, personal services, real estate and field services, events and hospitality, food service, retail, outdoor and personal recreation, and limited health care, according to the post.
