THEFT 

A man on March 1 came to the Safety and Justice Center, 225 Kimbark St., to report a theft that occurred in June. A report was taken.

DISTURBANCE 

Police on Feb. 28 investigated a disturbance in the 1000 block of Townley Circle. A boy was later contacted and arrested for charges related to the incident.

THEFT 

A school resource officer on March 1 was notified of the Feb. 26 theft of a catalytic converter from a vehicle parked in the 1500 block of 15th Avenue. The case is under investigation.

DEATH 

Police on March 1 responded to a death investigation in the 1800 block of Ute Creek Drive.

TRESPASS 

Officers on March 1 responded to the 2000 block of Main Street for a report of trespassing. A 48-year-old man was issued a summons.

THEFT 

Officers on March 1 took a report of theft from a business in the area of Weld County Road 1 and East Ken Pratt Boulevard. A man and woman attempted to leave the business with approximately $27 worth of merchandise; $21 worth of merchandise was recovered.

DRUG VIOLATION 

A school resource officer on March 1 was notified that a boy was found in possession of marijuana in the 1500 block of 14th Avenue. A municipal summons was issued.

SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF CHILD 

Police on March 1 received a phone call from Miami-Dade police about a sexual exploitation of a minor case. This case is under investigation.

SHOPLIFT 

Officers on March 1 responded to the 2500 block of Main Street for a shoplifting report. A man was contacted and the stolen items were returned. The man was referred to the Longmont Community Justice Partnership.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS 

Police on March 1 responded to the 1300 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard for multiple vehicle trespasses. Two suspects smashed car windows and stole property from vehicles.

WARRANT ARREST 

Police and firefighters on Feb. 24 responded to a medical assist in the 300 block of South Hover Street. A man was taken to a local hospital, treated and later arrested on an unrelated warrant.

THEFT 

Officers on Feb. 26 responded to the 2000 block of Sunset Way for a theft report. A man reported someone unlawfully entered his apartment and took items.

DISTURBANCE 

On Feb. 26 at approximately 1732 hours, officers responded to the 1900 Block of Mountain View Avenue for a report of a man who was out of control. Officers arrived and found a suicidal man who was placed in protective custody and transported to a local facility for further assessment.

CHILD 

Police on Feb. 27 responded to the 2100 block of Collyer Street for a report of possible child abuse.

INJURY ACCIDENT 

On Feb. 28 at approximately 1249 hours, officers responded to the area of Ute Highway and Main Street for a three-car crash with injuries. Two parties were transported to a local hospital. The case is open pending further investigation.

ASSAULT 

On Feb. 28 at approximately 1500 hours, officers took a report about an assault that previously occurred in the 2400 block of Pratt Street. 

PROTECTION ORDER 

A man was arrested for violation of a protection order on Feb. 28  while officers investigated a felony eluding case. 

VICIOUS DOG 

A woman was bitten by a dog on March 1 in the Clover Creek neighborhood. The dog and owner have not been identified.

SEX ASSAULT 

Police on March 1 took a report of a sexual assault in the 1800 block of Main Street. The victim in the case did not wish to press charges.

ROBBERY 

Officers on March 1 were dispatched to a disturbance in the 900 block of South Hover Street. Upon arrival, officers learned that two women had attempted to steal a vehicle and assaulted the owner and a bystander who stepped in to help. A woman suspected in the incident was located nearby and arrested. A second suspect is still at large.
