Discover your roots with the Longmont Genealogical Society! The Longmont Genealogical Society was founded in 1986 to promote an interest in genealogy research. Genealogy and learning about your family history can be one of the most interesting and rewarding hobbies.

Our meetings, workshops, and Library Sessions are designed to educate and help you effectively research your family history.

Monthly "Membership" meetings offer speakers who present their programs on a variety of genealogical topics that can help you with your research.

At the "Collaborative" research workshops and "Library" sessions, LGS members assist you with hands-on research techniques, strategies, and education for the best results.

Members of the society also receive the Longmont Heritage quarterly, which contains articles on genealogy and family history, plus much more.

LGS members serve the community by preserving its history and promoting genealogy. Join the Longmont Genealogical Society and discover both your talents and family history!
