The Sandstone Ranch section of the St. Vrain Greenway trail reopened in June. Along this trail 200,000 new native plants can be seen and trailblazers can enjoy newly stabilized creek banks.

This section of the trail, between County Line Trailhead and Sandstone Ranch Visitors Center, opened in early June. Since the trails destruction in the 2013, this trail is the first stretch of the $120-140 million multi-year Resilient St. Vrain Project. This project was designed to restore the greenway and alter the St. Vrain Creek channel to prevent future flooding.
