John Gauthier said it was love at first bite when he decided to pursue a Longmont location for Crumbl Cookies, which has its long-awaited grand opening on Friday.

After trying the chocolate chip cookie from the Utah-based franchise, Gauthier began the journey to opening his first Crumbl Cookies. Gauthier and his family have spent months perfecting the Longmont location.

“As business owners, we are looking forward to sharing delicious cookies with our neighbors,” he said.

The newest location of the cookie-based business will celebrate its grand opening at 1248 S Hover St #100 in Longmont. Gauthier said he’s looking forward to serving delicious treats to cookie fans in Crumbl’s iconic pink boxes.

The store is providing more than 60 career opportunities to Longmont locals, according to a release from the company. The menu for grand opening week will contain six of the 200 plus weekly rotating flavors, including Crumbl’s award-winning milk chocolate chip.

Some of Crumbl’s other specialty flavors include cornbread, cookies and cream, s’mores, key lime pie, peppermint bark, caramel popcorn, buttermilk pancake, galaxy brownie and more. Weekly flavor drops will be announced 6 p.m. every Sunday on all of Crumbl’s social media accounts.

The store is open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. to midnight Fridays and Saturdays. Customers can order in-person during the first five business days of grand opening, with delivery, curbside pickup, catering and nationwide shipping available beginning Oct. 19.

Crumbl was founded in 2017 in Logan, Utah, by Jason McGowan and Sawyer Hemsley. Over the past five years, the company has grown to over 500 locations in more than 40 states.
