With Longmont Restaurant Week rapidly approaching, the Longmont Observer will be publishing menus from restaurants participating in the first annual Longmont Restaurant Week, April 20 to 29.

The Roost will be offering:

First Course:

Blistered Shishitos (gf)

“the gamble pepper” tossed in salt & lime

-or-

Bangin’ Cauliflower (gf)

fresh cauliflower florets in crispy rice flour tempura

tossed in a bangin’ sauce of citrus & sriracha

-or-

Polenta Bites (gf)

crispy parmesan polenta bites, Haystack

Mountain goat cheese, house smoked

tomato puree & balsamic reduction

Second Course:

The Roost Burger (gf)

grass-fed Longmont beef or house black bean patty, apple wood

smoked bacon, melted white cheddar, crispy onion strings, house

pickles, garlic aioli & BBQ sauce on brioche bun

-or-

Steak Frites (gf)

a Roost favorite of marinated bistro filet grilled

& sliced over a pile of Garlic-Parm Fries with

candied bacon & brown butter sauce

Poké Rice Bowl (gf)

steamed Jasmine rice, julienned Portobello mushroom, carrots,

sweet peppers, basil, cilantro, mint, scallion, cashews & house Ponzu

*choice of raw Ahi tuna, poached shrimp, grilled chicken or squash

Shrimp & Bacon Mac

sautéed shrimp, apple wood smoked bacon & macaroni

shells simmered in chipotle-white cheddar sauce

topped with garlic bread crumbs

Third Course

WARM CARROT CAKE

cream cheese frosting, candied pecans,

house caramel & vanilla ice cream

Today’s Crème Brulee (gf)

rotating flavors of baked custard with a

thin layer of crisp sugar
