Friday Afternoon Concerts, Friday, February 15, 2019, 2:30 p.m.

Arts Longmont continues its 28th season of Friday Afternoon Concerts and Art Shows on Friday with a cello and piano recital. Katarina Pliego, cello, and Karin Buer, piano, will perform sonatas by two German giants—Ludwig van Beethoven’s Sonata and Johannes Brahms’s Sonata. The artist demonstration features J. Diane Martonis. The series is co-presented with the Longmont Museum. Performances are held at the Longmont Museum’s Stewart Auditorium.

Homeschool Art Classes for Teens, Friday, February 15, 2019, 4:15 p.m.

Focusing on creativity and individual expression, you will learn different art-making processes, art history, materials and tools, and art from around the world. Bring your own sketchbook and then all other supplies are provided – paper, drawing materials, scissors, canvases, paints, pastels, and more! This class is held in downtown Longmont at CoSolve and taught by local artist and educator, Tyrell Coover.

Journey Girls, Friday, February 15, 2019, 7 p.m.
