The first time I read Nia’s information I was struck by her words

Nia Wassink is informed, positive and humble. I believe those attributes are the best building blocks for a successful member of the Longmont City Council. I do not live in Ward 1, so will be unable to vote for Nia. However, I read as much as possible about all residents running for council seats and she would have my vote if I could vote for her. The first time I read Nia’s information I was struck by these words, “I have spent decades volunteering and fundraising for a myriad of causes, all while standing up for those who needed a friend, their voices amplified or a hand.”

I encourage all Ward 1 voters to review Nia’s education, work experiences, and stated priorities when elected to the council and cast your vote for her. I have spoken with several residents who have attended events led by Nia and they all have given one-word reviews-excellent. One such review came from my spouse of 54 years.
