Scott Cook, executive director of the Longmont Chamber of Commerce was recently elected to serve as Secretary of the Board of the Association of Colorado Chambers of Commerce, or ACCC.

The ACCC is an alliance of chambers representing businesses across Colorado.

"And since we are stronger together, ACCC provides a forum for chambers to achieve their highest level of success by providing a forum for professional development, collaboration, and the sharing best practices," said Lauren Schwartz, executive director of the ACCC and director of Investor
Relations for the Colorado Chamber.

"ACCC and the Colorado Chamber are important allies to local Chambers across the state. Through our monthly meetings and annual conferences, Chamber leaders learn from each other and share ideas that can positively impact our local business communities," Cook said.

Cook was selected to serve as secretary of the board, a position he will assume in January.

"I am excited to serve on the board during a time when Chamber leadership needs support as we help our business communities face a number of economic challenges," he said.

"Scott Cook is a valued mentor, collaborator and friend to the chamber community, and we are thrilled to have him join the ACCC board,” Schwartz said.
