FirstBank celebrated 50 years in Longmont with its employees and customers on Wednesday.
FirstBank entered Longmont on June 29, 1972 and has served the community since.
The event included live music from Funk Fusion Initiative, food, treats and refreshments along with a bingo raffle and prize wheel.
FirstBank maintains more than $28 billion in assets at 100 branch locations across Colorado, Arizona and California. FirstBank opened in 1963 and is today known as an industry leader in digital banking as one of the largest privately held banks in the U.S.
The company is also unique in that a large portion of its stock is owned by management and employees, giving employees a financial stake in the bank’s success.
