The Boulder Small Business Development Center is hosting a program for Longmont startups and early-stage businesses.

The 10-part program the LEADING EDGE Entrepreneurship Series will run from Sept. 14 through Nov. 30 on Tuesdays 6 to 8:30 p.m. except for Nov. 2 and Nov. 23.  Cohort members will attend presentations, test out new ideas, network and form a business plan throughout the program. It’s applicable to any industry.

According to the Boulder SBDC website, participants will receive five or more hours of private consultations, learn about financing options for their business and develop a marketing plan.

Meetings were originally scheduled to be in-person at the Boulder SBDC Longmont Satellite Office at the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce but will now be held online through Zoom.

The LEADING EDGE Entrepreneurship Series is co-sponsored by the City of Longmont, Office of Economic Development and International Trade, Longmont Economic Development Partnership and Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce.

Registration is $495 per attendee, but Longmont businesses and startups have a discounted rate of $125. Interested parties can register online, and confirm qualification for the Longmont sponsorship by contacting Dan King at [email protected].
