New Website Aims to Attract New Businesses to Longmont

Longmont EDP launches new website to aid in employees finding employment and to attract more businesses to the Longmont area.

A new website design for Longmont Economic Development Partnership, or Longmont EDP, aims to attract more business to Longmont.

Longmont EDP released a new website, www.longmont.org which aims to support national talent acquisition and inspire prospective employees and businesses to make the move to Longmont. 

The site homes in on Longmont’s thriving business community and employment opportunities, its array of neighborhood options, great schools, nationally known restaurants and entertainment and its proximity to world-class outdoor activities. 

“The new website’s functionality presents a strong offering to our national talent audience by allowing them to search for jobs and to find the best Longmont neighborhood for them,” said Jessica Erickson, president of Longmont EDP. “And it goes further by integrating other sites and organizations they need to know about to make an informed decision for their lives and for their careers. The site also provides Longmont EDP the ability to capture user information to remarket to them and assist in making that decision more personal and more impactful.” 

Erickson further added that this site will not only be used by prospective employees, but also, site selectors, businesses and stakeholders from around the nation. These organizations can utilize the website to look for data and compelling information about Longmont.  

Longmonters can use the Longmont Career Pathways built by Longmont-based technology company, Indigo Education Company, which helps individuals in career selection or transition. 

The site also offers a “choose your Longmont neighborhood” section. The Cornerstone-Home Lending created experience allows individuals to take a quiz to narrow down which Longmont neighborhood works best for them. Links to local lifestyle and family-related sites, like groups that represent Longmont’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, are also offered on the site. A new data hub that highlights some of the key metrics for understanding Longmont’s economy in terms of workforce, industry and livability.
