On May 22, The Rawlins National Bank (RNB) announced that it is officially changing its name to Front Range State Bank.
“Our Board feels that being under state supervision, as opposed to a federal regulator, is a better match for a community bank like RNB. Additionally, we believe that the name Front Range State Bank is more closely aligned to this community" said Bruce Hellbaum, President and CEO.
The bank is converting from a national charter to a state charted bank and is a division of RNB State Bank in its Colorado markets.
Front Range State Bank is one of five branches of the RNB State Bank family. It opened its Longmont branch in 2008 with six employees. By 2015, the bank had doubled its size and renovated its building to accommodate its expanded staff and clientele. The bank is located at 2001 Main St., Longmont.
Mel Green, Colorado Market President states “We believe that the change in name is just what we need to better connect with our community. We are a small bank that values independence and are proud to remain a community bank. We value relationships and encourage our customers to get to know their Banker.”
