The county is sponsoring Summer Catfish Night on Thursday, June 10 from 7:30-11:00 p.m. near Broomfield. The exact location of the fishing hole will be disclosed at registration, according to a Boulder County news release.

The cost is free but anglers 16 and older must have a current Colorado fishing license.

Artificial and live bait is allowed. Anglers can only fish from the shore and a headlamp or flashlight is recommended, according to the news release.

“Please note that the event will not be cancelled due to rain,” the news release states.
