Longmont Police this morning remain at the scene of a barricaded party in the 1500 block of Northwestern Road. This is in the immediate area of Mountain View Avenue and Harvard Street on the northwest side of Longmont, according to a Longmont Public Safety Facebook post.
Officers responded to the scene at 9 p.m., Tuesday.
There is no direct threat to the public. However, Longmont Police are asking residents to avoid this area.
Nearby Longmont Estates Elementary School is closed for the day, according to a statement on the St. Vrain Valley School District website.
