The City Council Tuesday night will take up the issue of gun safety.
The pre-session begins at 5:30 p.m. at the city council work session room and will not be live streamed. The council’s regular session begins at 7 p.m. and will be livestreamed.
Mayor Joan Peck asked for a review of local gun safety laws following the mass shooting at Uvalde, Texas. Peck also has said the mass shooting at a Boulder King Soopers prompted the review.
During the regular session, councilors will consider approving an agreement to help create a Boulder County Region Opioid Council.
