Tuesday’s regular Longmont City Council meeting and the Dec. 29 council study session have been canceled for the holidays.

Longmont city government observes the Christmas Day holiday on Friday, and the New Year’s Day holiday on Jan. 1. Most city facilities will be closed. Emergency services, parks and outdoor recreation areas will be open, according to the city’s holiday closure listing on its website.

Waste Services curbside collections will take place on regular collection days both weeks. The Waste Diversion Center will be closed Wednesday through Sunday, and Dec. 31 through Jan. 2. Singlestream recycling bins will still be available, the city’s website states.

Boulder County offices will be closed Thursday and Friday and Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.

Except for an administrative meeting on Monday, there are no hearings or meetings scheduled for Boulder County commissioners Wednesday through Jan. 1.
