City of Longmont’s Total Sales and Use Tax for July 2017

The City of Longmont Finance Department has released the sales and use tax division analysis of taxes for the month of July 2017. According to the report, total sales and use tax for the month of July 2017 was $5,234,485, which is an increase of 4.

The City of Longmont Finance Department has released the sales and use tax division analysis of taxes for the month of July 2017.

According to the report, total sales and use tax for the month of July 2017 was $5,234,485, which is an increase of 4.7% from July 2016’s $4,999,296. Current sales tax collection has increased 7.7% while current use tax collection has decreased 2.9%.

So far, 2017 has seen total sales and use tax through July increase by 14.1%.
