City of Longmont’s Total Sales and Use Tax for June 2017

The City of Longmont Finance Department has released the sales and uses tax division analysis of taxes for the month of June 2017. According to the report, total sales and use tax for the month of June 2017 was $5,577,573 and saw a decrease of 8.

The City of Longmont Finance Department has released the sales and uses tax division analysis of taxes for the month of June 2017.

According to the report, total sales and use tax for the month of June 2017 was $5,577,573 and saw a decrease of 8.8% from June 2016's $6,118,215. Current sales tax collection has increased 6.6% while current use tax collection has decreased 47.4%.

So far, 2017 has seen total sales and use tax through June increase by 15.7%. This is a decrease from last month's 22.1%.
