About Crafternoon Challenge
Crafternoon Challenge is a weekly craft that kids age 3 to 9 years old can do with help from an adult.
Do This Week's Challenge
See the instructions below to gather your supplies, or if you don’t have the supplies you need at home, pick up a kit at the Library's Children's & Teens' Area, 409 4th Ave. (while supplies last). Then, see the instructions below to make this week's craft!
Supplies:
- Green construction paper
- Blue construction paper
- Yellow construction paper
- Cotton swabs
- Scissors
- Glue
Instructions:
- Cut the stem and leaves for your daisy out of green construction paper and glue them to your blue construction paper. Don’t make the stem too tall or the daisy won’t fit!
- Next, cut a strip of grass out of green construction paper and glue it so it covers the bottom of your flower stem.
- Glue your cotton swaps in a circular shape near the top of your stem so that all of the ends touch in the middle.
- Finally, cut a circle out of yellow construction paper and glue it in the middle of your flower.
