Firehouse Art Center Suspends Gallery Hours

At the Firehouse Art Center, the health and safety of our artists, curator, visitors, volunteers, and staff are the highest priority. We are closely monitoring updates on the coronavirus (COVID-19) as it evolves locally and nationally, and are working to protect the well-being of our communities.

Dear Firehouse Art Center Patron,

At the Firehouse Art Center, the health and safety of our artists, curator, visitors, volunteers, and staff are the highest priority. We are closely monitoring updates on the coronavirus (COVID-19) as it evolves locally and nationally, and are working to protect the well-being of our communities.

All classes are cancelled this weekend and we are suspending gallery hours to assess open hours and upcoming events as the situation evolves.

During this time, we will be taking more photos and videos of our exhibit celebrating Mo’Print: Month of Printmaking to post on our social media. We don't want you to miss the beauty, fun and cleverness of these artist books made with a variety of printmaking techniques. They are each a unique and personal expressions of the artist!

“As a book artist I can be my own author, artist/illustrator, typographer, printer, and binder.” – Susan Lowdermilk

It is our hope that you will enjoy these snapshots of art from the safety of your home and that when it is safe to re-open you will have time to see them in person!

Above all else, we encourage people to adhere to all city/state/CDC recommendations.

Thank you and stay safe,

Elaine Waterman
Executive Director
