Morning Brief: Longmont City Council Meetings for Oct. 30 and Nov. 6 Have Been Canceled

According to the City of Longmont website, the city council meetings scheduled for October 30 and November 6 have been canceled.

The City of Longmont does not usually hold meetings on the 5th Tuesday of a month, which applied to the October 30 meeting.

The November 6 meeting is canceled because many of the Longmont City Council members will be attending the National League of Cities conference in Los Angeles, California.

Council meetings will resume on November 13, 2018.

Additionally, the SVVSD Board of Education is not scheduled to meet again until Wednesday, November 14.

Boulder County now accepting applications for Volunteer Naturalists

Boulder County Parks & Open Space is now accepting applications for Volunteer Naturalists. The application deadline is Fri., Nov. 9, for the 2019 class of volunteer naturalists. Training classes will begin Thursday, Jan. 10. Find out more about volunteering by clicking here.

Longmont United Hospital Breast Center Earns NAPBC Accreditation
