Longmont Fire Services Battalion Chief Arrested Thursday for Sexual Assault, Child Abuse, Second and Third-Degree Assault

Longmont Fire Services Battalion Chief (BC) Troy Bohm, 49, was arrested on September 4 by the Loveland Police Department after a months-long criminal investigation, according to the City of Longmont. Bohm had been placed on administrative leave on June 13 after the City of Longmont was notified by law enforcement that he was the subject of a criminal investigation. Longmont Public Safety was notified by law enforcement of the arrest, according to public information officer Rogelio Mares.

 

Larimer County jail records show Bohm was arrested on suspicion of the following charges:

 

Five counts of sexual assault — causes submission of the victim — rape

Third-degree assault

Second-degree assault — non-family — strangulation

Child abuse — knowingly/recklessly causes injury — family

 

Bohm is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday at 8:30 a.m. in the Fort Collins Justice Center.
