BURGLARY

On 12/29/18, Longmont police officers were dispatched to a possible burglary in the 400 block of Fox Street. There are no suspect leads and the case is closed.

AUTO THEFT

A Longmont resident reported a vehicle theft in the 2000 block of Estes Lane. This case is closed due to a lack of suspect information.

WARRANT ARREST

On Friday, January 4, 2019, at approximately 0734 hours, Longmont police assisted the Colorado Department of Corrections Parole with a warrant arrest in the 300 block of Lashley Street. An adult male was taken into custody without incident.

IDENTITY THEFT

A Longmont resident reported identity theft. This case is closed due to jurisdictional issues.

THEFT

On Friday, 1/4/19, a report was taken in reference to a theft which occurred in the 200 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

DUI

On Friday, 1/4/19, at approximately 1620 hours, the Longmont Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of 1st Avenue. One adult male was arrested for DUI without incident. This case is cleared by arrest.

SEX ASSAULT

On Wednesday, January 2, 2019, officers took a report of a sexual assault that occurred in the 800 block of Busch Street. This case is closed.

HIT-AND-RUN ACCIDENT

On 1/3/19, officers responded to the 200 block of Pikes Peak Place to investigate a hit-and-run accident involving two vehicles. The case is open, pending investigation.

INJURY ACCIDENT

On 1/3/19, officers responded to an injury motor vehicle accident in the intersection of Ken Pratt Boulevard and South Bowen Street. The case is closed with a summons issued.

SEX ASSAULT

On Thursday, January 3, 2019, Longmont police investigated a cold sex assault in the 600 block of Grandview Meadows Drive. The investigation is open.

LIQUOR LAW

On 1/4/19, Longmont officers were dispatched to the 000 block of Emery Way in reference to a liquor law violation/possible underage party involving alcohol. An adult female was referred to the Longmont Community Justice Partnership program. This case is closed.

DRUG VIOLATION

On January 4, 2019, officers responded to the 200 block on Coffman Street on a report of a trespass. On scene, two males were issued warnings for trespassing and one female was issued a warning for trespassing and was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia. This case is cleared by arrest.

AUTO THEFT

On Friday, 1/4/18, a report was taken in reference to an aggravated motor vehicle theft and theft which occurred in the 2200 block of Pratt Street. The case is closed as the vehicle was located and no crime occurred.

TRESPASS

On January 4, 2019, Longmont police responded to the 1400 block of Emery Street on the trespass of a transient male sleeping in the laundry room of an apartment complex. The male was found to be in possession of illegal drugs. The adult male was referred to the LEAD program and this case is closed.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

A Longmont resident reported a first degree criminal trespass at Summer Hawk Drive and East 9th Avenue. This case is closed due to a lack of suspect information.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

On Friday, January 4, 2019, the Longmont Police Department investigated a possible adulterated drink at a local liquor licensed establishment. An investigation revealed there was no evidence of a crime. This case is closed.

VICIOUS DOG

A Longmont boy was bitten by a dog while breaking up a dog fight. Both dogs were placed on quarantine at their separate homes.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

On Friday, 1/4/19, at 1308 hours, Longmont police officers investigated a criminal mischief which took place in the 800 block of Summer Hawk Drive in the city of Longmont. This case is closed with no active leads.

THEFT

A Longmont resident reported a theft in the 200 block of East 8th Avenue. This case is closed due to a lack of suspect information.

DISTURBANCE

On January 3, 2019, Longmont police responded on the report of a dog bite turning into a disturbance in the 900 block of Roundup Place. A juvenile female was placed on a mental health hold and transported to the hospital. This case is closed.

DUI

On January 4, 2019, officers initiated a traffic stop in the intersection of Clover Basin Drive and Hover Street. Officers contacted the adult male driver and adult female passenger. The driver was arrested for DUI related charges. This case cleared by arrest.
