INJURY ACCIDENT

On Saturday, December 1, 2018, officers were dispatched to the area of 17th Avenue and Cambridge Avenue in response to an injury accident. A 51 year-old male was pronounced deceased on the scene. This investigation remains open for further follow-up.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

A Longmont resident reported a first degree criminal trespass in the 3100 block of Concord Way. Case is closed due to lack of suspect information.

THEFT

A Longmont resident reported theft in the 00 block of Reed Place. Case is closed due to lack of suspect information.

THEFT

A Longmont resident reported theft from her residence in the 1200 block of Juniper Street. Case is closed due to lack of viable suspect information.

DRUG VIOLATION

On Saturday, December 1, 2018, at about 05:35 hours, Longmont police contacted an adult male and an adult female in the 2500 block of Main Street. The two parties agreed to participate in the LEAD program. Case closed.

BURGLARY

On Saturday, December 1, 2018, at approximately 07:19 hours, Longmont police investigated a burglary in progress in the 400 block of Main Street. An adult male suspect was reported to have been inside of a closed business. The male was contacted and taken into custody without incident. This case is open pending additional investigation.

WARRANT ARREST

On Saturday, 12/01/18, Longmont police were notified of an adult female with an active warrant for her arrest who was attempting to purchase a firearm in the 100 block of South Main Street. The female was contacted, taken into custody and later bonded from the police department. Cleared by arrest.

THEFT

A Longmont resident reported a bicycle stolen in the 1100 block of East 17th Avenue. Case is closed due to lack of suspect information.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

On November 30, 2018, at approximately 21:58 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to the 2200 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard on the report of a suspicious situation. An adult female was placed on a mental health hold. Case closed

BURGLARY

On Saturday, 12/01/18, at approximately 08:00 hours, an officer took a report of a burglary to an occupied residence that occurred in the 000 block of University Drive. There is no suspect information at this time. This case is open pending further investigation.

BURGLARY

On Saturday, December 1, 2018, officers responded to the 600 block of Pratt Street in regards to a home break-in. There was forced entry and nothing was taken. There are no suspects at this time. Case closed.

AUTO THEFT

A Longmont resident report the theft of a motorcycle from the 300 block of Coffman Street. Case is closed due to lack of suspect information.

MEDICALĀ 

On December 1, 2018, at approximately 17:12 hours, Longmont police officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Mountain View Avenue on an unresponsive adult female. An adult female was transported to the hospital; case is closed.

WELFARE CHECK

On Saturday, December 1, 2018, at approximately 17:30 hours, Longmont police officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Francis Street on a welfare check. The citizen was contacted and found to be in good health and not in need of medical assistance. Case closed.

INFORMATION

On Saturday, December 1, 2018, Longmont police responded to the 4600 block of Lucca Drive to check the welfare of an adult male. The case has been sent to DHHS for follow-up. Case will be closed.

DUI

On December 1, 2018, at approximately 17:59 hrs, Longmont police officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Glenarbor Circle on the report of a domestic disturbance. An adult male was contacted and arrested for driving under the influence. Case is closed, cleared by arrest.

PROTECTION ORDER

On Sunday, December 2, 2018, Longmont police officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Kimbark Street in reference to a protection order violation. This case was unfounded as the protection order had not been served. Case closed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 12/1/18, the Longmont Police Department responded to a domestic in the 1500 block of Emery Street. A 37 year-old male damaged property in the residence and menaced a 24 year-old female. This case is under investigation.

WARRANT ARREST

On 12/2/18, at approximately 02:42 hours, an adult male was contacted in the 600 block of Coffman Street. The male had two Longmont Municipal warrants for his arrest. The male was arrested and later transported to the Boulder County Jail.

SEX ASSAULT

On 12/2/18, officers took a report of a sexual assault in the 2700 block of Copper Peak Lane. Case is open to detectives for further investigation.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On Sunday, 12/2/18, at approximately 12:00 hours, officers responded to a report of a FDC and theft. Due to the lack of suspect information, this case is closed.

AUTO THEFT

On Sunday, 12/2/18, Longmont police took a report of a cold auto theft that occurred approximately November 18 or November 19, 2018, from a business in the 2300 block of Bent Way. There is no suspect information or workable leads therefore this case will be closed.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On Sunday, 12/2/18, at approximately 17:00 hours, police were dispatched to the 1300 block of 15th Avenue, Longmont, Colorado on a report of a cold first degree criminal trespass to a vehicle. Police investigated and documented their findings. Case closed.

CHILD

On December 2, 2018, Longmont police investigated a child problem in the area of South Airport Road and Nelson Road. Officers investigated possible child abuse allegations and closed the case as no probable cause for child abuse was developed. The report will be referred to DHHS for informational purposes.

SEX ASSAULT

On Sunday, December 2, 2018, at about 17:00 hours, officers with the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1100 block of Lefthand Drive, Longmont, Colorado for the report of an assault. The suspect was later identified. No charges filed at this time. Case closed.

MEDICAL ASSIST

On Sunday, 12/2/18, police responded to a medical assist in the 1100 block of Parker Drive, Longmont, Colorado. Police assisted and documented their findings. Case closed

ANIMAL COMPLAINT

A Longmont woman was bitten by the family cat. The cat was relinquished to the humane society and will be quarantined there.

DISTURBANCE

On December 1, 2018, at approximately 20:18 hours, Longmont police responded to the 2500 block of Main Street on the report of a disturbance. No disturbance occurred. Case closed.

AUTO THEFT

On 12/01/18, at approximately 20:00 hours, Longmont police officers responded to the report of a stolen truck from the 3800 block of Staghorn Drive. This case was closed.

TRAFFIC STOPĀ 

On 12/01/18, Longmont police conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle in the 1000 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard. The adult, male driver was later ticketed for having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle. Case cleared by arrest.

BURGLARY

On 12/01/18, Longmont police responded to the 300 Block of 21st Avenue on a report of an attempted burglary. As of now, there is no suspect information and this case will be closed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On December 2, 2018, Longmont police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Hover Street on a domestic violence incident. An adult female had left the scene and was interviewed at a later time. An adult male is wanted on domestic violence related charges. This case is open pending his apprehension.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On December 2, 2018, Longmont police officers responded to the 2400 block of Frontier Street reference a trespass of a vehicle and a theft. Officers responded to the area, but were unable to locate anything of evidentiary value. The adult female victim was unable to provide any suspect information. This case will be closed due to lack of evidence and suspect information.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 12/2/18, officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 2700 block of Copper Peak Lane. Case is closed as there is no probable cause at this time.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On 12/2/18, Longmont police responded to the 2600 block of 3rd Avenue Place referencing a trespass to a vehicle. Police investigated the matter and no arrests have been made at this time. The case is open for further investigation.

SEX ASSAULT

On 12/2/18, Longmont police took a report of a possible sexual assault incident which occurred between 2007-2009 involving a juvenile male. The incident occurred out of state, but is being reported in Longmont, Colorado. A report was taken and the case will be closed and forwarded to the agency in which the incident took place.

THEFT

On 12/2/18, at approximately 16:00 hours, Longmont police officers responded to the report of a stolen television from the 2300 block of Clover Basin Drive. This case is closed due to lack of suspects.

THEFT

On Sunday December 2, 2018, at approximately 16:28 hours, officers took a cold theft report that occurred in the 1500 block of Kimbark Street, in the City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado. Case closed.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Sunday, December 2, 2018, at about 16:30 hours, officers with the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1500 block of Mountain Drive, Longmont, Colorado for the report of criminal mischief. Two unidentified individuals set a small fire. The fire was put out by a witness. The individuals were not identified. Case closed pending new developments.

SHOPLIFT

On Sunday December 2, 2018, at approximately 18:00 hours, officers took a shoplift report which occurred at 200 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard, in the City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado. Case closed.
