Longmont Police Report 12/18/18

FRAUD

On Monday, December 17, 2018, at approximately 2305 hours, the Longmont Police Department took a report of forgery by use of counterfeit bills in the 2200 block of East Ken Pratt Boulevard. The case is open.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On December 18, 2018, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 2100 block of Lincoln Street on a cold domestic violence related disturbance. An adult male was taken into custody and transported to the Boulder County Jail. This case is cleared by arrest.

DRUG VIOLATION

On December 18, 2018, officers contacted a suspicious vehicle in the 1700 block of Hover Street. Two adult males were contacted. One male was arrested for drug related charges. This case is cleared by arrest.

THEFT

On Tuesday, 12/18/18, a report was taken in reference to a theft which occurred in the 1100 block of Boston Ave. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF CHILD

Longmont police responded to Timberline Middle School on a report of a possible exploitation of a child. The case is under investigation.

DRUG VIOLATION

On Tuesday, 12/18/18, Longmont police responded to the 100 block of East Longs Peak Avenue in reference to a welfare check. A male was transported to the hospital. The case is open.

THEFT

On December 18, 2018, a theft report was received from the 200 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard. An adult female report merchandise was stolen from her business. This case is closed.

HARASSMENT

On Tuesday, December 20, 2018, officers took a report of a cold harassment in the 1800 block of Stroh Place. This case is closed.

THEFT

An employee of a Longmont business located in the 1200 block of Main Street reported an incident of employee theft. The case status is open and has been forwarded for follow-up.

SEX ASSAULT

On Friday, 12/14/18, Longmont police took a report of an attempted sexual assault that occurred at an unknown location in the City of Longmont. The case is open and under investigation.

VICIOUS DOG

On 12/16/18, a cat was killed by a dog at Westview Middle School. The dog owner was issued a summons.

WARRANT ARREST

On Monday, 12/17/2018, at about 1041 am, officers from the Longmont Police Department were dispatched to the 1200 block of Cedarwood Drive on a report of a suspicious situation. A 30 year-old male was contacted and found to have an outside agency warrant, which he was arrested and bonded on without incident. This case is cleared by arrest.

THEFT

On Monday, December 17, 2018, at about 1159 hours, an officer of the Longmont Police Department was dispatched to a theft which had just occurred in the 2500 block of Main Street in the City of Longmont, County of Boulder, and State of Colorado. The suspect is unidentified at this time. This case is closed.

WARRANT ARREST

On Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at around 00:20 hours, Longmont police investigated a verbal domestic incident in the 1200 block of South Coffman Street. An adult male was arrested for an active warrant and was transported to the Boulder County Jail. This investigation is closed.

THEFT

On 12/18/18, officers responded to the 1600 block of Great Western Drive on the report of theft of services. The suspect is known and was issued a summons. This case is cleared by summons issued.

DISTURBANCE

On Tuesday, 12/18/18 at approximately 0314 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to a disturbance in the 1800 block of Mount Sneffels Street. An adult female was placed into protective custody and transported to a hospital for an emergency mental health evaluation. This case is closed.

WARRANT ARREST

On Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at about 0829 hours, an officer with the Longmont Police Department was assigned a felony warrant arrest at the Longmont Police Department regarding a 33 year-old male who was wanted out of Longmont and Broomfield on outstanding warrants. The male was taken into custody and transported to the Boulder County Jail without incident. This case is cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

An adult male was arrested on two outstanding warrants at 225 Kimbark Street and bonded out on $200.00 cash bond. This case is cleared by arrest.

DEATH

On December 18, 2018, at approximately 1706 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to the 2900 block of McIntosh Drive in reference to a deceased adult male. An investigation was conducted and this case is closed.

WELFARE CHECK

On Tuesday, 12/18/18, Longmont police officers responded to the area of 6th Avenue and Collyer Street in reference to a male lying in the gutter. Officers contacted the male, and assisted in transporting the male to the hospital for injuries. The male was later arrested and released on summons for a protection order violation. This case is closed and cleared by arrest.

AUTO THEFT

On 12/18/18, officers responded to the 700 block of Darby Court on the report of a stolen vehicle which had been left running to warm-up. There are no current suspects in this case. This case is closed.
