Longmont Police Report 12/19/18

THEFT A Fort Collins business reported burglary and theft in the 1000 block of Alta Vita Court. Case is closed due to a lack of suspect information. CIVIL A civil matter was reported in the 600 block of Frontage Road.

THEFT

A Fort Collins business reported burglary and theft in the 1000 block of Alta Vita Court. Case is closed due to a lack of suspect information.

CIVIL

A civil matter was reported in the 600 block of Frontage Road. A report was taken for informational purposes only.

STABBING

On December 18, 2018, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 100 block of Rothrock Place on a stabbing. An adult female suspect attempted to flee the scene and assaulted an officer who pursued her. The female was taken into custody and transported to the Boulder County jail. The victim and officer both suffered minor injury. This case is cleared by arrest.

FRAUD

Longmont police responded to the Valero convenience store located at 902 Main Street on a report of forgery devices. The case is under investigation.

CRIM MISCHIEF IN PROGRESS

On December 19, 2018, a criminal mischief report was received from the 2700 block of Copper Peak Lane. An adult female reported her vehicle was damaged while it was parked outside of the home. This case is closed.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On December 19, 2018, a vehicle trespass report was received from the 1600 block of Great Western Drive. An adult male reported his vehicle was entered and personal property was stolen from inside. This case is closed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Wednesday 12/19/18, officers arrested an adult male on domestic violence related charges and resisting arrest in the 2800 block of Denver Avenue. This case is cleared by arrest.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

The Longmont Police Department Cyber Crimes Unit assisted the Northern Colorado Regional Forensic Lab with an investigation. This is an on-going investigation. Any inquiries should be directed to the Northern Colorado Regional Forensic Lab.

SHOPLIFT

An employee of a Longmont business located in the 2500 block of Main Street reported a theft of miscellaneous merchandise by an unknown suspect. The case status is closed due to a lack of suspect information.

THEFT

An employee of a Longmont business located in the 600 block of 10th Avenue reported a theft by known suspects. The case status is open and forwarded to detectives for information and follow-up.

ASSAULT

On Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at around 2320 hours, Longmont police responded to the 1700 block of East Ken Pratt Boulevard on a report of an assault. An adult male was arrested and transported to the Boulder County jail.

ASSAULT

On 12/17/18, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1800 block of 11th Avenue in reference to a juvenile complaint. Two juvenile females were issued a summons. The case is cleared by arrest.

THEFT

On Wednesday, 12/19/18, at approximately 1325 hours, an officer took a report of a theft in the 2400 block of Main Street. There is limited suspect information at this time. The victim does not want to pursue criminal charges. This case is cleared exceptionally.

THEFT

An employee of a Longmont business reported theft. This case is closed due to the lack of viable suspect information.

ATTEMPT TO LOCATE 

On Wednesday, December 19, 2018, Longmont police responded to the 300 block of Lashley Street on a wanted party. An adult male was arrested on a warrant and transported to the Boulder County jail. This case is cleared by arrest.

HARASSMENT

On Wednesday, 12/19/18, police were contacted about a suspicious male in the 1800 block of Corey Street. Police are still investigating. This case is open.

PROTECTION ORDER

On Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at approximately 1845 hours, Longmont police responded to the area of South Main Street and Grand Avenue on a medical assist. A 56 year-old male was found to be intoxicated and was arrested without incident for violating a protection order. This case is cleared by arrest.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Wednesday, 12/19/18, police investigated a domestic violence incident in the 2400 block of Airport Road. Police are still investigating.
